 Many years ago I wrote this. I will put it to A.I. for critique.

 

 Rebellion

The populace has a particular aversion to any violent confrontation, it takes severe mismanagement and exploitation to provoke the masses to stomach a revolt. When the masses are cajoled into action, Libertarian values are usually just a brief flourish.

History shows that past Authoritarianism have primarily been defeated, by more ruthlessly coercive Authoritarians.

The Authoritarian Elite has always been tiny. Intelligently amalgamated in their desire for power and control. Oligarchical unity is their greatest advantage and it allows their ascendancy over the masses.

The masses are disjointed and it is their uneducated misconception of their best interest, that leads to their malfeasance. This can be seen from Caesar's Aedui, Cortes' Tlaxcalans to Queen Victoria's Sikhs, Pathans and Gurkhas.

These were conflicts and exploitations were of the Authoritarian Age, deplorable though they be, they were destined to create civilisation and structure. That Age is now passing

Instigated by the Industrial Robber Barons, the Authoritarian Elite now have ideas of interminable global social reform. It is their predestination that the masses be conditioned into doltish slaves. They are to be disenfranchised of intelligent leaders, for the few that arise are lured with with modest rewards of wealth and privilege, to work for their system.

At present only special interest groups will form to protest against the existing Authority, but lacking support from the masses they will always falter. To the Authoritarian Elite any violent insurrection can be easily dealt with, this can be done till the cows come home.

Furtive promotion Gandhi's non-violent civil disobedience is encouraged, as to them, this is even more innocuous.

Advancement, is only through the flow of knowledge. When the masses recognise the synonymous face of Fabian and Thule. They must learn Shannon's maxim, for these are the philosopher-kings, that wish to govern us for eternity.

Will there be gatecrashers at this Socrates' dinner party?

We have an Age to out wait this insidious Authoritarian Elite in their battle of attrition. We scoff at their influence and patient insinuation. Libertarians shall still refuse to give up the Individual, for we have learnt an abiding lesson and will no longer be drawn into a battle of Zama.

It is not that we are against Authority per se, for we see no shame from following direction and instruction from the future meritocracy.

The day will come when they will have to deal with a whole legion of Archimedes.

Libertas inaestimabilis res est
Liberty is a thing beyond all price

The New Age.

There will be no violent revolution just gradual rational transition.

Public institutions will transform from Parasite to supporting Epiphyte.
